Job description

About Inworld
Inworld is a research lab of top researchers and engineers, building the world's top-ranked realtime voice models.
Today our models are the #1 ranked realtime voice models in the world. They are used to power the largest consumer-facing AI applications available, across categories like health, fitness, learning, therapy, companions, customer experience and media; representing 100s of millions of end users. Our work spans areas like research and development of state-of-the-art models, optimizing realtime inference, and creating best-in-class APIs and products that allow developers to engage their users.
We've raised more than $125M from Lightspeed, Section 32, Kleiner Perkins, Microsoft's M12 venture fund, Founders Fund, Meta and Stanford, among others. Our technology has powered experiences from companies such as NVIDIA, Microsoft Xbox, Niantic, Logitech Streamlabs, Wishroll, Little Umbrella and Bible Chat. We've also been recognized by CB Insights as one of the 100 most promising AI companies globally and have been named one of LinkedIn's Top 10 Startups in the USA.
Your impact
We're looking for a pioneering North America GTM Lead who will work directly with the VP of Revenue to grow our sales presence in North America. In this role, you will be managing some of our most important prospects and customers. You will be hands-on in translating complex customer needs into scalable solutions, shaping how new customers experience Inworld from their very first interaction.
You'll be the architect of trust and technical credibility, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and growth to help deals progress end-to-end, ensuring seamless adoption and long-term customer impact. Your work will lay the foundation for our GTM strategy, uncover new market opportunities, and directly influence how Inworld scales its solutions across industries.
What you'll do
  • Manage a robust book of business and run the end-to-end sales process, ensuring customer technical requirements are met and deals progress.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable technical requirements for Product and Engineering.
  • Build credibility with external stakeholders through technical fluency and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Own pipeline generation opportunities through outbound engagement, trend analysis, mining our rapidly growing PLG funnel, and working with our GTM Engineer and BDR team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, TPM, and Growth teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage POCs and use GTM tooling to accelerate deal cycles and increase win rates.
  • Contribute to shaping GTM strategy by identifying new verticals, use cases, and expansion opportunities.

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in customer facing roles (AE, SE, GTM Lead) with demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • Strong technical background (AI, cloud, infrastructure, or software-related environments preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external customer or partner relationships toward defined outcomes.
  • Track record of independent execution, problem solving, and meticulous follow-through.
  • Effective communicator with ability to bridge technical and business conversations.
  • High level of empathy and integrity in client interactions.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and see constant change as opportunity, not obstacle.
  • Prior exposure to a product-led growth strategy and usage-based business model.
  • Bachelors degree or higher, in a technical domain.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience at a high-growth startup, or as a founder/operator.
  • Experience with modern GTM systems (Clay, n8n, zapier etc.).
  • Familiarity with the AI ecosystem and emerging use cases.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles (MEDDPICC, BANT etc.).

Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).
The base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $200,000 + commission + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
