Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
Will be reading of the X-Ray plates. Image plates are received from the X-Ray Shooter and are processed, and images are analyzed for flaws, defects, or abnormalities. X-Ray readers retrieve component requirements from work order and special instruction in notes as to the image requirements per component type. Personal Dosimetry Badges are used by every employee to ensure their personal safety. Will be in our Gibsonton Florida Location.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Will maintain the flow and quality of parts produced continuously performing improvement analysis.
  • Setting-up tools and following X -Ray safety requirements.
  • Performing the operation according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Will check and report any Safety opportunities or near-misses.
  • Examines finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications moving processed parts to the next area and cross training as needed.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in manufacturing X-ray machine operation or plate reading will be a plus.
  • Ability to read engineering instructions.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
