Job description

Our Electrical Engineer II is an early-career role responsible for supporting the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Engineers in this role will assist in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components while collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Support: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for UAS platforms.

  • Wiring and Harnessing: Support the production and documentation of wire harnesses using Altium and other tools.

  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic circuit issues on UAS platforms.

  • Integration Assistance: Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms.

  • Documentation: Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for electrical systems.

  • Testing: Conduct electrical tests and assist in developing test procedures to verify system functionality.

  • Collaboration: Work with production teams to address non-conformance issues and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to UAS systems or similar projects (internships or academic experience welcomed).

  • Skills:

    • Familiarity with Altium or similar design tools.
