9727 Avionics Loop Norfolk, VA 23511, USA +0 more locationsless locations Job Details Description WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking a Knowledge Sharing Network professional / Waterfront Representative (Corrosion Prevention) to support Program Executive Office โ€“ Maritime (PEO Maritime). The Knowledge Sharing Network professional / Waterfront Representative (Corrosion Prevention) supports readiness by improving knowledge sharing and ship maintenance information flow across Surface Fleet stakeholders. Applies expertise in knowledge exchange, surface ship maintenance, depot availabilities, material readiness, and corrosion prevention and control, including familiarity with corrosion mitigation strategies, materials, coatings, tools, and processes used to prevent and resolve corrosion across the Surface Fleet.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:  * Serve as the waterfront representative leveraging comprehensive understanding of ship maintenance policies and processes to support requirements to ensure a state of material readiness essential for preserving the highest degree of planning and execution of depot maintenance availabilities. 
* Represent the government client by providing oversight, direction, and advisory in major maintenance/modernization planning and execution. 
* Ensure lessons learned in advanced planning and execution are addressed across all ship classes, while keeping high standards for depot maintenance availabilities. 
* Ensure Maintenance Team compliance with Fleet Maintenance and Modernization policies. 
* Provide expertise and continuity to assigned ships and Maintenance teams in defining maintenance requirements and managing maintenance to maximize readiness. 
* Prepare reports and correspondence related to surface ship maintenance progress, problems, and solutions. 
* Investigate significant incidents affecting costs, schedule adherence, contractor performance, and material support. 
* Develop risk-assessed evaluations of new or growth work modifications. 
* Perform evaluations and propose improvements for future modernization planning activities. 
* Participate in special projects aimed at improving maintenance management processes or surface ship maintenance execution. 
* Prepare and deliver briefings for leadership, distilling complex information, outcomes, and recommendations in clear, actionable formats. 
* Provide expertise in support of corrosion prevention and control; corrosion-related maintenance planning and mitigation; and materials, coatings, tools, and repair processes.   
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging techniques to recommend improvements.  
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement best practices. 
This position is contingent on contract modification and funding.  Expected salary range: $90,000 - $110,000  Work Environment: * Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

* Professional proficiency in English is required.
* Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
