JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rolling Loading
  • Must learn to read daily production schedule.
  • Must learn to read daily load schedule.
  • Must learn to read product label.
  • Must learn layout of warehouse.
  • Write acknowledgement / load number on back of packing material.
  • Must be able to move finished goods from production area to warehouse or trailer for loading using a two wheel dolly.
  • Know how to properly load / stack finished goods in trailer for stability and security of load to ensure adequate room for complete order.
  • For finished goods requiring shrink wrap, must be able to safely operate heat shrink gun.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Assist others when necessary.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Who is responsible for your safety? "YOU ARE!"
  • Immediately report any work related injury or illness.
  • Keep the work area neat and free of hazards.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Always ensure proper lifting techniques: avoid bending and twisting at the waist whenever possible.
  • Inspect tools and protective equipment before use.
  • Learn the hazards of the equipment and procedures used on the job.
  • Report any defective, malfunctioning, or suspicious tool, machine, or protective equipment immediately.
  • Participate in safety training and safety meetings.
  • Report any hazards or risks related to policies or procedures.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Basic reading and writing skills required.
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate the English language.
EQUIPMENT USED:
  • Pneumatic staple / crimp guns
  • Tape Dispenser
  • Two wheel dolly
  • Dock plate
  • Fork Lift
  • Compactor

SAFETY:
Personal Protection Equipment should be worn at all times within the department as well as throughout the plant where designated. Safety is enforced each day to prevent any accidents.
Required PPE:
  • Protective Footwear (leather or canvass with close toe and heal)
