Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a QA / Business Analyst to support delivery speed across a range of web projects for a premier hospitality organization. This role is not a hands-on QA/testing position, but requires a strong understanding of testing practices in order to produce clear, effective user stories, test cases, acceptance criteria, and test documentation. The ideal candidate works closely with Development Teams and Product Managers in a fast-paced Agile environment to help teams move faster without sacrificing quality.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Documentation

  • Produce clear, well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Write test cases and test documentation to support development and QA handoff
  • Ensure requirements are testable and aligned with product goals

Delivery Support

  • Help development teams pick up speed and reduce ambiguity in delivery
  • Work closely with Development Teams and Product Managers throughout the Agile lifecycle
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and standups

Quality Awareness (Non-Testing)

  • Apply strong understanding of QA/testing principles when writing stories and test documentation
  • Bridge the gap between product requirements and testable, developer-ready work
  • Note: this role does not perform hands-on testing/QA execution

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases
  • Solid understanding of QA/testing principles and terminology
  • Experience working in Agile environments alongside Development and Product teams
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple concurrent web projects
