Position Summary:

The Content Marketer brings the brand to life through powerful storytelling-capturing emotion, purpose, and identity across every medium. They create compelling visual and written content through photography, videography, copywriting, and design thoughtful layouts that reflect brand values with clarity and impact. They refine each piece to resonate deeply, drive engagement, and inspire connection across channels. Additionally, they lead cross-functional content teams across the bank, empowering subject matter experts to scale timely, relevant content that keeps audiences informed and engaged.

Essential Functions:

Content Planning & Coordination

  • Support overall campaign and content strategy by executing targeted content plans and providing key input on format, messaging, and timing. 
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar and works with marketing team to ensure messaging aligns with overall bank initiatives. 
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration by consistently communicating with stakeholders and being proactive about upcoming content needs.

Content Creation & Production

  • Create original content for a wide range of formats and platforms, including written, visual, and audio media.
  • Capture, edit, and produce multimedia content-such as photography, video, and audio-for distribution across channels.
  • Translate ideas and messaging into compelling content that is on-brand, accessible, and engaging, regardless of format.

Design & Layout

  • Design and format content for both print and digital distribution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and usability best practices.
  • Create visually appealing layouts for flyers, brochures, reports, presentations, and digital graphics.

Content Scaling & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams and SMEs to gather information and produce timely, accurate content.
  • Support and train colleagues in basic content development best practices to expand content creation capacity across the Bank.
  • Develop templates, style guides, and toolkits to assist departments in creating consistent, compliant content.

Content Maintenance & Delivery

  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all published materials.
  • Prepare and publish content through CMS platforms, email systems, and other marketing tools, in coordination with other members of the marketing team.
  • Maintain a centralized content library and archive.

Compliance & Brand Alignment

  • Ensure all content meets regulatory, brand, and accessibility standards.
  • Work with Compliance and Risk teams to route content for timely approval when needed.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to internal and external customers.
  2. Shares responsibility for monitoring and responding to comments, complaints, reviews, and messages received via social media channels.
  3. Comply with federal and state banking regulations, as well as all bank and department policies and procedures.
  4. Attend bank-sponsored events and business functions as needed.
  5. Assist with maintenance and creation of department policies and procedures.
  6. Perform additional duties and handle special projects as required.
  7. Serve on various committees and cross-functional teams as assigned.
  8. Attend all required meetings and training.
  9. Some evenings and/or weekends may be required.

Position Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in content creation, writing, or visual media production.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio of published work across formats.
  • Proficiency in photography, videography, and post-production editing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience formatting content for various channels including web, print, email, and social media.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, email tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to take direction and work closely with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and compliance standards in content creation is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to Bank locations and work-related events as needed.
  • Able to work harmoniously, professionally, and effectively with others in pursuit of team goals.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is generally performed in a professional office environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature fluctuations.
  • Frequent use of computers, cameras, and office equipment requiring dexterity and coordination.
  • Regular sitting with mobility for meetings and content capture; occasional travel required.
  • Occasional lifting and transport of materials and equipment, up to 50 lbs.
