Job description

We provide technology that community financial institutions use to manage risk and drive growth. Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to grow their analytical and technical ability in the FinTech space.

In this role, you will harness your technical expertise to support clients in meeting their reporting requirements while curating valuable insights through our business intelligence products. You will become proficient in our loan review, business intelligence, and our core products, enabling you to assist clients in creating customized reports, and maintaining and improving our report catalog. Collaborating closely with the Product Team, you'll enhance the performance and usability of our reporting solution.

Our team's performance-driven culture and collaborative approach offer an excellent environment for launching or advancing your career. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Advisory and offers the flexibility of working remotely or from our offices in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and organize client reports using DevExpress Reports Suite or equivalent reporting tools.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting requirements.
  • Understand the end-to-end Loan Review process and develop subject-matter expertise in lending, credit, financial crimes, and portfolio risk management solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed client reporting and business requirements.
  • Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets; identify trends and issues; and translate findings into accurate, useful business reports.
  • Estimate the time required for custom report requests and complete assigned work accurately and within established timelines.
  • Serve as an escalation point for client reporting questions, provide technical support, and ensure timely client follow-up.
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings to understand data, requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes.
  • Document work completed, project progress, issues, and resolutions, and communicate updates effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve research, investigative quality, reporting efficiency, and client outcomes while identifying opportunities to automate repetitive work.
  • Support and contribute to engagements across all Advisory pillars, including work outside the primary pillar when business needs require, while sharing knowledge and best practices to strengthen cross-functional delivery and the client experience.
  • Partner with internal teams on data-collection needs, reporting trends, and opportunities to improve analytical efficiency and client value.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, monitoring, and data-collection processes through innovation and the effective use of technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional travel required for team events to support engagement, relationship-building, and key decision-making.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions.
  • Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to organize, interpret, and communicate complex information accurately.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision and demonstrate ownership of assigned work.
  • Exposure to financial, accounting, or mathematical concepts and the ability to interpret the results of financial models.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies independently and through formal training.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver timely, accurate, and results-oriented work.
  • Strong commitment to thorough and consistent documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • DevExpress Web Reporting Tool experience preferred, but not required.
  • Financial/Accounting experience is a plus.

What You’ll Get:

  • Market competitive total rewards package
  • To be part of the Heart & SOUL of a winning company with an inspiring mission
  • The opportunity to Make Big Things Happen
  • Competitive salary along with full health benefits with an HSA option
  • Flexible PTO and bank holidays
  • 401(k) plan and company match
