We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced auto service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide clients through the service process, recommend necessary repairs, and ensure a smooth, transparent experience. You will coordinate between customers and our skilled technicians to deliver exceptional service that keeps vehicles running at their best. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
  • Explain repair recommendations clearly and confidently, utilizing estimating software to prepare detailed work orders.
  • Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates, repair costs, and recommended maintenance plans.
  • Manage service writing tasks efficiently while maintaining accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly and process payments securely at the point of sale.
Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, and other automotive repairs.
  • Experience using estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is essential.
