Automotive Service Advisor / Service Manager Track

Location: Rochester, MI

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. No weekends.

Compensation: $60k - $100k, Strong step-up earning potential with ramp-in base pay and long-term company gross-profit sharing. Current front-of-house performers can reach six-figure income.


About the Opportunity

AutoShop Recruiting is partnering with a high-performing independent repair shop in the Rochester, MI area that is looking for a front-of-house automotive professional with real sales ability, customer presence, and leadership upside.

This is a great fit for an experienced service advisor, service writer, assistant manager, or first assistant manager who is ready for a stronger long-term opportunity without jumping into a corporate dealership environment.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Greet customers, listen carefully, and build trust quickly.
  • Write repair orders, present estimates, and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Work closely with technicians to understand inspections, diagnostics, and repair priorities.
  • Drive sales with integrity while protecting the customer experience.
  • Manage workflow, follow-up, scheduling, and customer updates.
  • Grow toward greater leadership responsibility if performance and fit are strong.

What We're Looking For
  • Automotive service advisor, service writer, assistant service manager, service manager, tire/service center, or front-counter sales experience.
  • Real sales ability and comfort role-playing or presenting value to customers.
  • Not entry-level; must understand customer service, repair orders, estimates, and shop pace.
  • Ideal profile could be a strong fourth advisor or assistant manager at a tire/service chain who wants a bigger opportunity.
  • Positive, accountable, team-first mindset.
  • Valid driver's license.
