Contract Opportunity: Proposal Writer Specialist (Independent Contractor – 100% Remote)

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Proposal Writer Specialist to support our team on an as-needed, contract basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at crafting compelling proposals and navigating procurement processes. This is not a full-time position—we are looking to build a relationship with a trusted resource we can engage for ongoing and future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit high-quality proposals (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs)
  • Review solicitation requirements and ensure full compliance in submissions
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary content and documentation
  • Manage timelines and submission deadlines for proposals
  • Assist with procurement research, bid sourcing, and opportunity identification
  • Maintain organized records of submissions and supporting materials
  • Provide recommendations to improve proposal strategy and win rates
