TITLE: Central Worship Director
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
REPORTS TO: Chief Creative Pastor

POSITION SUMMARY
The Central Worship Director provides leadership and support for worship across all LifeFamily campuses while leading worship primarily at the Austin Campus. Working under the vision and direction of the Chief Creative Pastor, this role develops leaders, strengthens culture, and helps maintain consistent, excellent worship environments church wide.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Central Leadership & Campus Oversight
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to campus worship leaders and music directors, ensuring alignment of culture, values, and standards
• Support campus worship leaders in planning worship sets, developing teams, and building healthy, unified worship environments
2. Austin Campus Worship Leadership
• Lead worship regularly at the Austin campus while overseeing scheduling, communication, and service coordination.
• Support weekly service planning and programming alongside the Chief Creative Pastor
3. Song Selection & Music Direction
• Lead collaboration with Campus Worship Leaders to gather, evaluate, and introduce new songs that support the vision and theology of LifeFamily
• Oversee the LifeFamily song bank and maintain consistency in musical direction across campuses
4. Vocal Development& Team Leadership
• Oversee the development, coaching, and care of vocal teams across all campuses while establishing healthy standards for vocal excellence
• Lead the church wide audition process while supporting campuses in building their teams
5. Systems & Communication
• Oversee Planning Center structures, workflows, and worship resources across campuses, including the Austin Campus contract labor and worship budget
• Ensure clear communication and alignment with Production and Communications
6. Central Worship Initiatives
• Manage LifeFamily Worship projects (songwriting, recording, releases)
• Coordinate worship gatherings, trainings, and special initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Proven worship leader with strong vocal ability and stage leadership
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Pastoral heart with relational strength and emotional intelligence
• Organized and effective in planning and execution
• Experience in a multi-campus or large church setting preferred
• Alignment with LifeFamily theology, mission, and values
• Proficiency in Planning Center and common worship/production tools
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
• Reports to the Chief Creative Pastor
• Provides leadership and support to campus worship leaders
• Collaborates closely with Music Director, Production, and Communications leads
SCHEDULE
• Sunday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
