Title of Position: World Languages Teacher - district-wide
Qualifications:
  1. Working knowledge of Next Generation Learning Standards and NY state assessments
  2. Proficiency with world language(s)
  3. The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
  4. Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners
  5. Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff
  6. Loyalty and evidence of being a team player and willingness to collaborate with staff
  7. Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community
  8. Strong understanding of the LCSD strategic plan and culturally responsive sustaining framework
  9. Proficiency with more than on foreign language - French, Spanish, Latin - strongly preferred
  10. Strong understanding of positive classroom management techniques

Requirements: New York State certification in a World Language at the secondary level
Position Available: 2026/2027 school year
Salary: step 1 salary in approved collective bargaining agreement
