Internal Medicine Physician - The Woodlands, TX
Job Description:
Specialty: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Schedule: Full-Time; 4.5-day work week (Friday afternoons off).
Join a premier, independent private practice that has defined the standard of adult and geriatric care in The Woodlands since 1997. This is a rare opportunity to join a physician-led group specifically designed for clinicians who value longitudinal patient relationships and the clinical autonomy to manage complex chronic conditions within a patient-centered medical home.
  • Clinical Scope & Population: You will manage a sophisticated adult and geriatric panel (approx. 40% Medicare) with a focus on preventative health and chronic disease management. The practice offers a high-acuity, rewarding environment that balances consistent, classic internal medicine cases with the diagnostic complexity of an aging population.
  • Operational Efficiency & Support: Practice alongside managing partners and a highly experienced support tier, including a collaborative mix of dedicated PAs and NPs. On-site labs, X-ray, and virtual visit capabilities are integrated to ensure administrative relief and a seamless diagnostic workflow.
  • Work-Life Synergy: Benefit from a lifestyle-oriented 4.5 day schedule featuring a 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, ensuring you head into the weekend early. Practice call is notably light (1-2 days per week) with no routine weekend call requirements.
  • The Partnership Track: This role is designed for a physician with a long-term ownership mindset, offering a clear track to partnership. Once achieved, partners enjoy unparalleled professional freedom.
  • Compensation & Ancillary Growth: Offering a market-competitive base salary tailored to experience level, complemented by high-upside productivity bonuses.
About The Woodlands, TX:
  • Master-Planned Sophistication: A world-renowned community known for its perfect blend of "forest-like" seclusion and high-end urban amenities, featuring boutique shopping at Market Street and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
  • Connectivity & Access: Conveniently located just 30 miles north of downtown Houston, offering easy access to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and the world-class Texas Medical Center.
  • Elite Recreation: Boasts over 220 miles of hike-and-bike trails, 150 parks, and multiple championship golf courses, all centered around the vibrant Woodlands Waterway.
  • Premier Education: Served by top-ranked public school districts and elite private academies, with close proximity to Rice University and the University of Houston for continued academic collaboration.
