Job description

Job Title: SAP Sr Project Manager
Location: Lakewood, CO
Type: Contract
Compensation: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00
Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remote
Responsibilities
  • Lead the Manufacturing and Quality workstreams for a global SAP transformation program, driving planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment across all phases.
  • Manage program scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decision tracking.
  • Coordinate business, IT, and system integrator teams to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive governance including RAID management, action tracking, decision logs, and executive reporting.
  • Oversee readiness activities related to testing, organizational change management, cutover, and deployment planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT leadership to support global process standardization and adoption.
  • Manage cross-workstream dependencies and facilitate issue resolution and escalation.
  • Engage regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on key design decisions and track open action items impacting decision-making.
  • Understand SAP requirements such as configuration, RISEF, and potentially external systems (e.g., Tulip MES, Windchill), ensuring successful coordination among technical leads, BPOs, and technical teams.

Requirements
  • 8 years of significant SAP program delivery experience in regulated environments.
  • Strong manufacturing operations knowledge and proven track record leading large cross-functional ERP initiatives.
  • Experience with at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation; prior S/4HANA experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with SAP Manufacturing and Quality modules including PP, QM, PM, or related operational processes.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing master data, testing, data migration, and integration activities.
  • Support of global template deployments across multiple regions and business units.
  • Proven success managing large-scale ERP transformation programs and executive stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as Medical Device, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical.
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Smartsheets (not MS Project) and familiarity with waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Nice-to-have: experience integrating with external MES systems such as Tulip or Windchill.
