Job description

Job Summary:
InfoHedge Technologies LLC is an innovative technology solutions provider focused on Cyber Security and Managed Services. They are seeking a Workstation Deployment Engineer to manage hardware lifecycle processes and ensure the secure and efficient deployment of client devices.
Responsibilities:
• Modern Provisioning: Utilize tools such as Microsoft Autopilot and Intune to prepare client assets for production.
• Custom Configuration: Perform "white-glove" setups for clients with legacy requirements, including manual domain joins, specialized software installs, and peripheral testing.
• Hardware Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end flow of hardware including receiving, unboxing, asset tagging, provisioning, repacking, and shipping.
• Asset Management: Maintain 100% accuracy in the Asset Management database (CMDB). Ensure serial numbers, warranty dates, and client assignments are updated in real-time.
• Image Management: Where Autopilot isn’t applicable, assist in maintaining and updating master images using MDT, WDS, or third-party imaging tools.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct final "Out of Box" audits to ensure all hardware (webcams, docks, monitors) is functional and all client-specific data is correctly migrated.
• Decommissioning: Manage the secure data destruction and e-waste process for retired client hardware.
• Onsite Service: Ability to travel to client locations to facilitate the deployment of hardware or other tasks. (Note: This is possible, but not common in this role.)
• Available to work outside of standard hours when necessary or as part of on call rotation if applicable.
Qualifications:
Required:
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification/education/experience.
• 1 year desktop support/imaging experience.
• Experience setting up and configuring Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting and customizing Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra.
• Experience troubleshooting workstation hardware issues.
• Experience in general PC hardware configuration including BIOS/UEFI, drivers, etc.
• Ability to work independently to execute assigned tasks.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
