Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Workover Rig Shop Mechanic to join our busy repair shop.  As a Shop Mechanic, you will assist in diagnosing and repairing issues with workover rigs performance and function. This could be on new or existing equipment.
As a Shop Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all workover rig systems and components for various manufacturers.  Experience is a plus.  Bi-lingual is a plus but not a requirement.  You will be working on rigs and components at our shop.
The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with co-workers, able to explain rig issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice.
Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair workover rigs in the shop or yard
  • Carry out routine workover rig repair jobs such as brake adjustments, brake jobs, clutch repairs, hydromatic or disc repairs, drawworks repairs and anything else rig-related
  • Conduct in-depth rig inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
  • Maintain accurate shop records and paperwork
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications

  • 1 year minimum experience is preferred but not required
  • We will verify experience with previous or current employer
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are required
