The Children's Ministry Director at Canby Alliance Church plays a key role in nurturing a spiritually formative environment for children and families. This position involves providing vision, leadership, and support from nursery through 5th grade to enable children to feel known and loved, families to feel supported, and volunteers to feel equipped.
**Missional & Visional Focus:**
- Create a welcoming environment where every child is valued and encouraged to grow in faith.
- Develop a discipleship pathway for kids to encounter Jesus, learn Scripture, and practice faith in community.
- Champion family discipleship and support parents as primary spiritual influencers.
- Cultivate a culture of belonging for children of all backgrounds.
- Recruit, equip, and empower volunteer leaders to foster a team culture of encouragement and shared mission.
- Integrate children’s ministry into the church’s broader vision for unity and direction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Children's Ministry Leadership & Ministry Development (20%):**
- Develop a strategy and vision for children's ministry from nursery to 5th grade with a relational focus.
