We provide paid training in the Nurtured Heart Approach and offer strong team support so you can thrive.


We're excited to continue growing our services and, beginning this fall, we will have a dedicated CCSS team based out of our new Rio Rancho location. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in serving children and families in Rio Rancho and the surrounding areas.


Who You'll Serve

This position primarily supports children, adolescents, and their families receiving behavioral health services. You'll work in the home, school, and community to help families build skills and meet treatment goals.

Pay (Based on Degree)

AA: $20-$24/hr

Bachelor's: $24-$28/hr

Master's: $28-$32/hr

Spanish-speaking: +$2/hr


The Community Support Worker providesComprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS)to qualifying clients at home, school, and in the community. You'll support individuals and families experiencing behavioral health challenges and help them succeed in their daily lives.You will primarily be working with children and families


What You'll Do

  • Provide CCSS skill-building and coaching in areas like:
    • daily living skills & routines
    • emotional regulation & coping skills
    • social skills & communication
    • school readiness and support
  • Support crisis planning and stabilization
  • Coordinate with families, schools, and care teams as needed
  • Complete required documentation
  • Attend trainings, meetings, and supervision


Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 21+
  • 1-2 years relevant experience working with children/families (or similar population)
  • Reliable transportation + ability to travel locally
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • English required (Spanish a plus)
  • Monday-Friday, available 8a-7p
  • PART-TIME POSITION ARE NOT AVAILABLE


Qualifying Education/Experience

Related degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Human Services, Child Development, Education/Special Education, or similar helping fields. Related experience may include behavioral health support, case management, school-based services, CYFD/foster care, residential/group home work, or youth programs.
