Working Under The Table information

What does working under the table mean?

'Working under the table' refers to performing a job or providing services without officially reporting the income to government authorities. This often means that neither the worker nor the employer pays taxes or follows labor regulations related to the job. Such arrangements are typically informal and may not offer legal protections, such as minimum wage, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits. While some people choose this type of work for quick cash, it can have legal and financial risks for both parties. If caught, individuals may face fines or other penalties from tax authorities.

I'm sorry, but 'Working Under The Table' is not a recognized or legitimate professional occupation and typically refers to unreported or illegal employment. Therefore, it is not appropriate to provide job-relevant skills or qualifications for this role.
