Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

To safeguard the table bankroll and cards in play and to provide card games to players at tables using chips.

Hiring for full time shifts will include Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays. Wednesday through Sunday, 7pm to 2am.

Newly increased starting wages for every position! Shift differentials of $1.00/hour extra for 4:00 p.m.- midnight and $2.00/hour extra for midnight - 8:00 a.m. We also offer a generous benefit package with Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Employee Discounts, Paid Time Off, Vacation, and 401k - with a company match.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Inspect cards used in games to ensure that they are in good condition.

Protect table bankroll and cards in play.

Exchange paper currency for playing chips.

Notify Pit Boss when changing large bills.

Verify and fills/credits at a table.

Check to ensure that all players have placed bets before play begins.

Deal the appropriate number of cards to each player and the house.

Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.

Apply rule variations to card games such as poker.

Open and close game tables with Lead Pit and/or Pit Boss.

Refer patrons to gaming cashiers to collect winnings.

Comply with gaming regulations, internal control systems and compact agreement.

Follow Casino and department policies and procedures, including all safety and service procedures; adhere to the Prairie's Edge Chain of Command.

Support the Vision and Mission Statement's of Prairie's Edge Casino Resort.

All other duties as assigned.
