We are currently hiring a compassionate and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist a family in Oshawa with supporting a child with autism and special needs.
The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, energetic, and has previous experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and/or other developmental or special needs.
Position Details

5 days per week
3 to 4 hour shifts
Consistent ongoing schedule
Responsibilities

Provide attentive and supportive care to a child with special needs
Safely drive the family member to and from classes, programs, and activities
Assist with daily routines and supervision
Build a positive and supportive relationship with the child and family
Requirements

Experience working with children with autism and/or special needs REQUIRED
PSW certification is considered an asset
Valid G drivers license REQUIRED
Reliable personal vehicle REQUIRED
Comfortable driving as part of the role
Clean driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
