This role is designed for remote work, allowing you to interact with students and their families through virtual platforms. You will be part of a supportive team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, all committed to providing comprehensive care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Serene Behavioral Health Group, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments for students, encompassing their mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's goals while employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) during individual and group sessions.
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations through meticulous record-keeping and timely documentation of patient interactions.
• Collaborating closely with educational staff and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and support for students.
• Engaging in ongoing consultations and peer review meetings to elevate care quality and professional knowledge.
• Educating students and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to facilitate informed decisions.

Your role as an LCSW will center on a diverse group of children, adolescents, and their families. You will provide support to students facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. This position requires cultural competence and sensitivity to ensure that all interventions are respectful of individual backgrounds and experiences.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a mental health clinical setting with a concentration on psychotherapy delivery.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and their application in a school context.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster relationships with clients and collaborative partners.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities essential for adjusting treatment plans to reflect patient progress.
• Ability to contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a client-centered focus.

Experience in an educational or school-based setting is highly desirable, particularly with clients ages 5 to 18. Familiarity with specialized interventions for youth, such as trauma-informed care approaches and school crisis management strategies, is an asset.
