Job description

Position Title: Sanitation Worker

Duration: 03 Months with possibility of extension

Location: Houston, TX 77086

Shift hours: M-F, 8am-6pm or 9am-8pm

Job Description:

  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire facility and is responsible for the food safety and quality the products.
  • Disposes of boxes in compactor, empties/picks-up trash throughout facility and outside around the plant, sweeps/mops/squeegees floors where and when needed, wipes condensation where and when needed, handles disposal of inedible product on the property, cleans break rooms (sanitize tables, chairs, counter top, and microwaves, etc.).
  • Restocks production supplies (hairnets, aprons, sleeves, gloves, etc.), restocks restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.), reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, etc.), gives a written reports of unsafe conditions or unsafe acts to management, assists Client in achieving these goals by participating in the safety program, performs other tasks as assigned or on Master Sanitation Schedule.

  • Must be able to work for periods of time in freezer 10F to -10F degrees.
