Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Location: Vermont
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday

About the Position

We're hiring a Vermont-licensed LICSW to deliver virtual mental health care to clients across the state. You'll work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life changes, and other concerns that affect day-to-day well-being. The focus of this role is direct client care. You'll use your clinical judgment to assess needs, guide therapy, and track progress while working within a consistent weekday schedule from a remote setting.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with clients through secure video-based therapy sessions
  • Evaluate presenting concerns, symptoms, strengths, and support needs
  • Establish treatment goals based on each client's priorities
  • Use appropriate therapeutic interventions throughout the course of care
  • Review progress and make clinical adjustments when needed
  • Keep progress notes, assessments, and other records complete and current
  • Recognize potential safety concerns and follow established clinical procedures
  • Practice in accordance with Vermont licensing, privacy, and telehealth standards

Requirements

  • Must hold an active Vermont license in one of the following accepted credentials: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Experience providing therapy, counseling, or clinical social work
  • Comfortable working in a remote care model
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Able to create a reliable and supportive virtual care experience
