Job Description:

THE ROLE:Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Warehouse Worker (Kitting) to join our team.As aKittingAssociate,youarean essential part of helping Entegris be part of the Future of Innovation.In this role you willensure finished and semi-finished products and materials are handled properly and accuratelytosupportthe operationsof a 24x7 manufacturing facility.Usinga RFgun and pick lists you will assemble and/or put away components that are needed for manufacturing departments. This positioncollaborateswithprocurement,scheduling,quality,manufacturing, andlogistics.HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 10PM-6AM MONDAY-FRIDAYWHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Conducts scheduled picks of requested components/materials,additionalparts, reservations, resupply materials, andconsolidatesand delivers them to various manufacturing departments for assembly or production orders.
  • Processesexpeditedorders or damaged parts,identifiedwithblue sheets,with urgency and accuracy.
  • Gatherkitting materials and labels for every work order through SAP.
  • Enters kitting order details and specifications into SAP and other ERP systems to uphold precise inventory and order records.
  • Ensures all picked products adhere to packagingspecifications;promptlyescalatequality issues when necessary.
  • Packages finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from ordersutilizinga combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Labelskits appropriately andensureproperdocumentation is completed foreffectivetraceability.
  • Inspectkits for visible quality defects or inconsistencies and escalate any issues to kitting lead and supervisor asappropriate.
  • Promptly escalates any inventory discrepancies or issuesencounteredwhen pickingkits.
  • Safely and effectivelyutilizeelectric pallet jacks and WAVEmobile equipment to support dailyobjectiveswithin the company and kitting department.
  • Collaborateswith otherwarehouseteam members and other departments to meet production schedules and customer demands.
  • Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughlyandtimely(i.e.Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels,ComponentSheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.).Maintainsaccurateattributes/variable charts of rejected materials.
  • Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality.Promotes and implementsthe useof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.Participateactively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures.Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.
  • Completes miscellaneoustasks asassigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
WHAT WE SEEK:
  • Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP softwareand/or other inventory software tomaintainrecords and input data is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math computations.
  • Basiccomputer anddata entry skills.
  • High attention to detail.
