Job Summary:
Infojini Inc is a full service IT consulting and staffing firm, and they are seeking a Desktop Support professional to augment their staff at York Technical College. The role involves providing desktop support for various devices and assisting with IT infrastructure and helpdesk operations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Desktop support for Faculty/staff on our main campus and satellite centers for Apple MACs, Windows PC's, laptops, printers, ipads, tablets pcs, and other mobile devices.
• Assist with PC deployments. Protect and secure user data while deploying pcs.
• Provide support to the Helpdesk as a member of the team
• Assist with installation of workgroup network devices (switches, cabling, wireless AP)
• Assist in supporting IT Infrastructure
• Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency configuring and troubleshooting Windows operating systems in a client/server environment
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computer and network problems
• Strong customer service skills
• ABILITY TO DRIVE AND TRAVEL TO SATELLITE CENTERS IN INDIAN LAND SC AND CHESTER SC TO PROVIDE SUPPORT
• Associate degree in Computer Science or Electronics Technology
Preferred:
• EXPERIENCE PROVIDING TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO PC USERS IN AN ENTERPRISE ENVIRONMENT
• EXPERIENCE BACKING UP USER FILES, IMAGING PCS, AND RESTORING DATA
• NETWORKING EXPERIENCE INSTALLING AND MAINTAINING WORKGROUP LEVEL EQUIPMENT SUCH AS CABLING, SWITCHES, AND AP’S
• A+, Net+, CCNA, Microsoft Certifications
