Welcome & Company Mission

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is a subcontracting and staffing firm dedicated to delivering highly skilled workforce solutions to the data center, telecommunications, and infrastructure industries.

Our mission is to provide exceptional talent, unmatched customer service, and safe, reliable execution for every project we support. We believe our people are our greatest asset and are committed to creating opportunities for growth, advancement, and long-term career success.

At AIS, we operate with integrity, accountability, safety, and a relentless commitment to excellence.

Position Summary

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Director who knows how to sell, knows how to build relationships, and understands the fast-growing data center industry.

This is not a traditional sales management role. We are looking for a hunter—someone who can open doors, create opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, and turn conversations into contracts.

The ideal candidate understands that data centers are only as successful as the people who build, deploy, operate, and maintain them. You will sell workforce solutions to data center owners, operators, general contractors, electrical and mechanical contractors, engineering firms, infrastructure providers, and other companies supporting the data center ecosystem.

You should be comfortable talking to executives about business strategy one minute and discussing staffing requirements, project timelines, skilled trades, technicians, and workforce challenges the next.

If you love the thrill of winning new business, building a pipeline from scratch, and closing deals, this role is for you.

Primary Responsibilities

Drive New Business

Own the sales process from prospecting through contract execution and account expansion.

Identify and target data center owners, operators, developers, contractors, and infrastructure service providers.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Develop relationships with executives, procurement leaders, project executives, construction managers, operations leaders, and workforce decision-makers.

Generate new business through cold calling, networking, industry events, referrals, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and strategic prospecting.

Create opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you.

Consistently meet or exceed revenue, gross-margin, and new-account targets.

Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, staffing agreements, and other commercial arrangements.

Sell Workforce Solutions

Understand the workforce challenges associated with data center construction, deployment, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.

Position our company as a strategic workforce partner, not simply a staffing vendor.

Develop workforce solutions based on project scope, timelines, labor requirements, geography, skill sets, and client needs.

Sell solutions involving data center technicians, electricians, low-voltage technicians, structured cabling professionals, engineers, commissioning personnel, project managers, and other skilled infrastructure professionals.

Partner with recruiting and operations teams to ensure we can deliver against client requirements.

Translate client workforce problems into practical, profitable solutions.

Own the Data Center Market

Develop a deep understanding of the data center ecosystem and its major players.

Track data center construction and expansion activity across key U.S. markets.

Identify upcoming projects early and establish relationships before competitors do.

Build relationships throughout the data center supply chain, including owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, integrators, and service providers.

Stay informed on industry trends, labor shortages, construction activity, hyperscale development, colocation, AI infrastructure, and other factors driving workforce demand.

Develop market strategies for entering new geographic territories and customer segments.

Build Long-Term Client Relationships

Become a trusted advisor to clients and understand their business beyond an individual staffing request.

Expand existing accounts by identifying additional workforce needs and project opportunities.

Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts.

Maintain strong relationships throughout the entire client organization.

Ensure client expectations are aligned with recruiting and delivery capabilities.

Protect and grow strategic accounts through exceptional service and responsiveness.

Qualifications

5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing, workforce solutions, construction, technology infrastructure, or professional services.

Demonstrated history of winning new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience selling into enterprise or commercial accounts.

Strong understanding of the sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account expansion.

Experience presenting proposals and negotiating contracts.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and project opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling staffing or workforce solutions.

Existing relationships within the data center industry.

Experience selling to data center owners, operators, developers, GCs, EPC firms, electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, or infrastructure service providers.

Knowledge of data center construction, commissioning, operations, or maintenance.

Experience selling skilled technical labor or project-based workforce solutions.

Existing network within the data center, construction, critical infrastructure, or technology infrastructure industries.

Compensation & Benefits

We are looking for someone who wants their compensation to reflect their performance. The position will include a competitive base salary and aggressive commission/incentive structure tied to sales performance, with significant upside for someone who consistently delivers results.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organization and play a major role in building our data center workforce solutions business from the ground up.

Why Join AIS?

This is a unique opportunity to build the legal function of a rapidly growing national infrastructure company. As Corporate Counsel, you will play a key role in shaping the organization's legal strategy, supporting executive decision-making, and protecting the Company as it expands across the United States.

If you are a business-minded attorney who enjoys solving complex challenges, negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, and partnering with executive leadership to drive growth, we invite you to join our team.

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a workplace built on integrity, inclusion, professionalism, and respect.
