Overview

We are looking for someone to join the SEO department of our agency in Madrid. We require a person with experience in the sector and a strong desire to take on new challenges in the field of digital marketing, specifically in search engine optimization (SEO). The ability and experience to work on several projects simultaneously, as well as planning and managing international-level SEO projects in coordination with different areas and teams, will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone capable of managing large national and international accounts in the SEO field. The person will be responsible for the management, execution, and continuous analysis of large-scale SEO projects, working for major international brands.

Extensive knowledge of the sector, metrics, best practices, and new trends in the SEO world.

Knowledge of Drupal. Experience with other CMSs such as WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc., will be valued. Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple clients/digital projects simultaneously. Experience using tools such as: SEMrush, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics (preferably with knowledge of Google Analytics 4), Google Search Console, and Looker Studio. Must be autonomous, versatile, solution-oriented, and capable of adapting to the constant changes in the market and environment. Experience in e-commerce optimization. English level C1 or higher, with the ability to participate in meetings and communicate verbally and in writing with clients (a test will be conducted). Strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

More than 2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist:

  • Experience in client management: planning, direct interaction, preparation of presentations, and daily management with clients, as well as preparing strategies and market/competitor studies.

  • Demonstrable SEO knowledge with experience in an online marketing agency, including development, implementation, and monitoring of SEO actions.

  • Demonstrable On-page SEO knowledge, with the ability to optimize a landing page from a search engine perspective (Title, metadata, H1, internal linking, etc.).

  • Experience in managing joint SEO/SEM projects for One Search optimization strategies.

  • Experience in international SEO.

  • Experience in measuring and reporting SEO campaign performance.

  • Experience in local search SEO (Google My Business).

  • Knowledge of Off-site SEO techniques (Link Building, outreach & engagement, PR actions).
