Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processor to oversee complex, multi-state payroll operations for approximately 2,800 employees. • Support payroll operations for a predominantly hourly workforce across multiple states.
  • Manage complex multi-state payroll requirements, including California and Pennsylvania.

  • Support payroll tax filings, reconciliations, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Administer payroll for employees covered by approximately 30 union agreements.
  • Perform detailed payroll reporting, analysis, and reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.
  • Leverage Excel functions including PivotTables and Lookups to analyze and report payroll data.
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and proactively address potential issues.
  • Partner with HR, payroll, and other shared services teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
  • Participate in the transition from ADP Workforce Now to SAP ECP, including implementation, testing, process development, and related project activities.
  • Help maintain accurate payroll processes and documentation during the system transition.
  • Support timekeeping processes; experience with UKG is a plus.
  • Provide hands-on support during periods of high payroll volume and business activity, including occasional overtime as needed.
