GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Business Forecasting Associate develops and utilizes sophisticated financial models to forecast performance, assess risks, and inform key decisions, effectively communicating findings to institute finance and operational leadership. Responsibilities include supporting the monthly close process, RCM performance analysis (KPIs, reporting, revenue/expense modeling), physician compensation analysis, workforce management (labor cost analysis, efficiency modeling), and project management for acquisitions, new initiatives, and other strategic initiatives. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with peers, management, and stakeholders across the organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops sophisticated financial models to forecast financial performance, assess risks, and support decision-making. Effectively communicates complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Supports monthly close and operational review meetings, including document ownership, active participation during review meetings, and providing financial recommendations for improvements.
  • Supports the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team by conducting financial analysis of key performance indicators, prepares reports and dashboards to track RCM performance, and responsible for modeling projected revenue and expense. Collaborates with RCM staff to investigate and resolve revenue reporting discrepancies.
  • Supports Workforce Management by analyzing labor cost data, model strategic plans to improve workforce efficiencies, and model productivity impacts against workforce requirements
  • Analyzes physician incentive compensation to ensure accuracy of contractual payments and provides analytical support for new compensation modeling.
  • Project manages business plans for potential practice acquisitions (including due diligence), along with physician recruitments, and new program development
  • Performs ad-hoc analyses to track performance and outcomes against projected results for multiple concurrent projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year of experience working with spreadsheet, presentation and other data management tools

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 1 year of Experience with Physician practices
