HR Consultant - Workforce Strategy

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The HR Consultant will be responsible for solving organizational challenges through people-related solutions and serving as an integral part of a market or business segment's frontline leadership team, to understand every aspect of the business and be a resource and thought leader on human capital and organizational topics. This role requires a combination of hands-on approach and critical reasoning and thinking, use of data to guide work, being comfortable challenging convention and, in some cases, influencing line leaders to reassess how work is done. Partner with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts in executing tactics for how we staff, onboard, develop, motivate, retain and organize work. As a core part of this hands-on work, this position will execute programs to support associates, including compensation, performance management, organizational design, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, culture, rewards and recognition, and talent management.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support workforce agility efforts for the business unit by partnering across HR to coordinate and execute people-related actions that enable rapid shifts in staffing and organizational needs.
  • This role requires a combination of hands-on approach, critical thinking, and use of data to assess organizational and people-related risks associated with workforce changes.
  • Partner across HR to develop mitigation strategies and recommend actions to minimize disruption and protect business outcomes.
  • Plan and implement organizational change initiatives, including change impact assessments, communication support, and adoption tactics to drive sustainable results.
  • Partner across HR and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor workforce agility activities (including Pre-deployment and Redeployment) and provide updates, insights, and recommendations to guide decision making.
  • Responsible for being a highly effective resource to line management on organizational and people related planning and execution tactics.
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions, solving problems and getting to the root cause of any issue, regardless of complexity.
  • Contribute to the design and support the implementation of solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond human capital and organizational solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, including the development and monitoring of the EEO/AA action plan for designated site/location; develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Ability to influence through strong relationships, expertise and data and can manage multiple stakeholders and multiple competing priorities.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Strong sense of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to communicate large, complex change strongly preferred.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, including HR experience, business partner or generalist experience with data, analysis, trends and reports; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • HR designation (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools preferred.
  • ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $65,440 to $98,160.
