Alliance Healthcare is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Workforce Analyst to support organizational planning, workforce analytics, compensation analysis, and executive reporting. This position plays a critical role in providing data-driven insights that support informed decision-making related to workforce planning, staffing, compensation, and organizational effectiveness.

Working collaboratively with the Human Resources Director and Chief Financial Officer, the Workforce Analyst will develop meaningful workforce metrics, evaluate compensation trends, and provide strategic reporting that supports Alliance Healthcare's mission of delivering exceptional behavioral healthcare services.

Primary Responsibilities Compensation Analytics

In collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Director

  • Conduct salary market research and benchmarking studies.
  • Prepare compensation analyses and internal pay equity reviews.
  • Analyze market trends and emerging compensation practices.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of salary structures and pay ranges.
  • Develop financial models for annual compensation reviews and market adjustments.
  • Prepare salary recommendations supported by comprehensive market and internal analyses.
  • Analyze position classifications and experience credit recommendations.
  • Prepare executive compensation reports, presentations, and summaries.
Workforce Analytics
  • Develop and maintain workforce dashboards and scorecards.
  • Prepare vacancy and staffing reports.
  • Analyze turnover, retention, and workforce trends.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and vacancy rates.
  • Conduct overtime and labor cost analyses.
  • Maintain position control and full-time equivalent (FTE) tracking.
  • Prepare executive workforce reports and Board of Directors workforce reports.
  • Monitor and report Human Resources performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Support workforce planning initiatives across the organization.
  • Analyze organizational structures and staffing models.
  • Perform budget staffing analyses in collaboration with Finance and operational leaders.
  • Develop and maintain Human Resources KPIs and workforce performance measures.
  • Analyze employee engagement survey results and workforce trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workforce effectiveness, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Support strategic Human Resources initiatives through workforce data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in workforce analytics, compensation analysis, Human Resources analytics, finance, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking and salary administration preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral healthcare, or a multi-site organization preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience developing dashboards and executive-level reports.
  • Knowledge of compensation methodologies, pay equity analysis, and workforce planning principles.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources metrics and workforce analytics.
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience using reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
