Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Helena, Montana. Start date: 09/27/2026. Assignment duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,450–$2,643. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts on a 2x3 schedule. Setting: hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including fetal monitoring, maternal assessment, medication administration, and perioperative support.
- Support obstetric procedures and function as OR Circulator when required, assisting with cesarean deliveries and other obstetric surgeries.
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status, identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Document care in the Epic electronic medical record, maintain accurate records, and ensure required certifications are on file at submission.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatology, and nursing leadership; participate in patient education, discharge planning, and family support.
- Float to medical-surgical, ICU, or ER areas as needed to assist with stable adult overflow and staffing needs.
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license or compact state license (MT or compact)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN fetal heart monitoring; all certifications must be active and on file at submission
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery/OB nursing experience
- Education: RN degree from an accredited program (not specified beyond nursing licensure)
- EMR: Epic experience required
- OB OR Circulator experience required
- Ability to float to MS, ICU, or ER as needed during the assignment
