Manufacturing Management Development Program  

Albertsons Companies (ACI) is investing in the next generation of talent in our Supply Chain Leadership Training Program. As a Leadership trainee with ACI, you will develop skills alongside passionate leaders to make an impact within our Supply Chain network.  This program will give you a unique opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set and gain exposure to multiple aspects of our complex and interesting business.  You can look forward to building your professional network while making meaningful connections across the Supply Chain organization.

What you will be doing

The Manufacturing Management Development Program offers recent graduates with early-career professionals an immersive 6-month hands-on experience, followed by 3 months of on-the-job application, designed to build future leaders across manufacturing operations.  

  • Gain practical experience in manufacturing operations, quality, safety, production planning, and logistics through real-world assignments and projects.  
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards  
  • Support execution of Manufacturing goals a process improvement projects.  
  • Communicate goals, updates, and metrics to the team regularly  
  • Train and mentor associates to achieve peak performance  
  • Ensure shift handoff and reporting process are complete and accurate
  • Collaborate with scheduling, warehouse, and support teams for seamless operations  

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or applicable major supporting food manufacturing or supply chain
  • Ability to quickly develop new skills, learn new tools, and integrate new techniques
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Passionate about making an impact while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams for overall company objectives
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and managing various work assignments.
  • Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative on your own.  
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically
  • Strong communication skills
  • 0-5% travel required  
  • Ability to relocate upon the completion of the program to one of our Manufacturing Plants
