Job Description
The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC), formerly called RCBI, is accepting resumes for a Workforce Development Program Manager.
Position Description:
The MAMC Workforce Development Program Manager is responsible for supporting program clients in obtaining training, industry-recognized certifications, apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities, and academic degrees that best align with their career goals. The Workforce Manager is part of MAMC's Workforce Development Team and reports directly to the Apprenticeship Unit Director. The position will split time between MAMC's primary facilities in Huntington and South Charleston.
As part of the MAMC Workforce Development Team, the Manager will work closely with the Team to plan, coordinate, and implement skills programs, apprenticeships, and pre apprenticeships for individuals and businesses. This position will work directly with people and businesses developing customized, in demand training opportunities.

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience
Success and experience working in a high-performance, collaborative peer group environment; possess strong program management skills and the ability to manage complex, multifaceted projects is required. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills as well as the ability to cultivate new and existing relationships.
Candidate is required to be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and use of audiovisual equipment
Candidates must have the ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Experience
Independent, results-focused, highly organized self-starter with supervisory skills is preferred.
Experience with federal grants and Salesforce, MS Access or another database system is a plus.
Demonstrated effectiveness as a leader, 3 years of experience in a team management role is preferred.
Sophisticated personal networking and relationship building skills is preferred.
