Job description

About Farsight AI

Farsight is the agentic AI platform for financial services, currently helping investment banks and private equity firms fully automate entire, highly nuanced workflows. Today, institutions will spend 80% of their time gathering information for and creating first drafts of materials by hand before iterating on and refining their decks, models, and pitches.

Farsight not only gives them that time back to focus on what is important, but we also bring new insights and knowledge to their materials that they wouldn’t be able to uncover without the help of our financial-focused AI.

Our Team

Our team has had a wide range of experience that uniquely equips us to capture this massive opportunity. Our team comes from leading financial institutions like Evercore, General Atlantic and Menlo Ventures, supercharged by scalable engineering and AI skills from companies including Amazon, Hugging Face and the MIT Media Lab. We've learned the ins and outs of building successful startups with a team of former founders and founding engineers. We focus on hiring the best so that we can become the best, so we hope you apply!

We are entirely based in Manhattan, New York City, and are in-person 4 days a week (except Fridays, which are remote).

The Role

This is Farsight's first dedicated Product Manager hire, reporting directly to the CTO. It is a high-ownership, high-visibility role that sits at the center of our product, engineering, and customer teams. You will be responsible for translating the needs of users in the financial services space into a clear product vision, and working directly with our engineering team to bring that vision to life quickly and with precision.

You will own the product roadmap, drive prioritization decisions, and be the connective tissue between what our customers are asking for, interacting with our Strategy & Ops teams (with many ex-bankers), and what our engineers are building. Given the complexity of our agentic workflows and the nuance of our financial services customers, this role will suit someone who is both deeply curious about AI and fluent in the language of investment banking and private equity.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product roadmap and drive prioritization across engineering, design, and GTM

  • Work directly with Investment Banking and Private Equity customers to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and feedback, and translate those into clear product requirements

  • Partner closely with engineering to scope, spec, and ship features that meet our standard of clean, accurate, and auditable AI outputs

  • Define and track the right metrics to measure product success in a non-deterministic AI system

  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer, ensuring every product decision is grounded in real workflow impact

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead PM role at a startup or high-growth tech company

  • Deep familiarity with investment banking or private equity workflows, either from direct experience in finance or from building products used by IB and PE teams

  • Strong technical fluency. You do not need to write code, but you need to understand how AI systems work, what makes them reliable, and where they break

  • A proven track record of shipping products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you took full ownership from problem to launch

Above and Beyond Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a founder or first PM at an AI-native startup

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic systems, or AI workflow products

  • Background in financial services, including investment banking, private equity, or fintech

  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers and incorporating their feedback into product decisions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $160,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience

  • Equity: Meaningful early-stage package with standard vesting (4 year / 1-year cliff)

  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

Note: You'll need valid U.S. work authorization to join us. Please note that a background check and employment verification may be required for this position. We may obtain one or more background screening reports about you, solely for employment purposes.

Equal Opportunity

Farsight is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, sexual stereotypes, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
