Job Summary
Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking an experienced and service-driven Lead Bartender to support daily bar operations and help lead our Food & Beverage team.
This role combines elevated guest service with hands-on operational leadership, assisting with bar oversight, team support, and maintaining exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced luxury resort environment, and leads by example while creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional, personalized service to guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks
  • Support daily bar operations to ensure efficient service and smooth workflow
  • Lead by example during service and assist bartenders and support staff as needed
  • Assist with training and coaching team members on service standards, beverage preparation, and guest engagement
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively resolve service concerns
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods
  • Ensure all bar areas remain clean, organized, fully stocked, and compliant with sanitation standards
  • Assist with inventory organization, supply ordering, and minimizing product waste
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all company and state regulations
  • Assist leadership with opening/closing procedures and operational support as needed

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience required; luxury resort or high-volume hospitality experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation techniques
  • Excellent communication, guest service, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
  • TIPS certification or equivalent preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
