We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our client's team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Workday functionalities, particularly in the areas of HR, benefits, compensation, and talent development. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance our HR processes, improve employee onboarding, and ensure the effective utilization of Workday's capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary expert on Workday functionalities, providing guidance and support to HR and business leaders.
  • Analyze current HR processes and identify gaps, recommending solutions to optimize the use of Workday.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving employee onboarding and overall HR efficiency.
  • Act as an internal consultant, providing insights on best practices and configurations within Workday.
  • Assist in the configuration and management of Workday modules related to HR, benefits, and talent management.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for HR staff to promote understanding and effective use of Workday.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR processes and systems, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Workday with other systems and processes.
  • Stay updated on Workday enhancements and industry trends to ensure the organization is leveraging the latest functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Workday SME with a strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday modules, including but not limited to HR, benefits, compensation, and talent management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience in training and mentoring staff on Workday functionalities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in Workday is a plus.
