Job Title: Workday Advanced Comp & Gem HCM Solutions Manager

Location: 3495 Deer Creek Road Palo Alto CA

Monday-Friday with flexibility to work earlier morning or later evening to meet with India team.

Role Summary
This role is focused on delivering project solutions for Workday Advanced Comp. Time permitting, they will also provide project support for other Workday
initiatives such as Core HCM, Performance Management, Benefits, and Security. This role will also be a key player in the implementation and support of Gem.
Since system configuration is owned by IT, this position focuses on requirements gathering, functional design input, test strategy and execution, data auditing, documentation, and project management for Workday initiatives partnering closely with IT to translate HR needs into configured solutions.
The ideal candidate for this role brings an AI-first mindset, using AI tools to build test scripts, automate manual processes, create/review documentation, and support development of create plug-and-play tools that leverage Workday data.

Project Work
Support our annual Sales Comp Review (Fall) and Company OPE Comp Review (Winter) programs in Workday using Advanced Compensation Document business requirements for People Technology project requests; createDetailed Requirements Documents for larger projects (e.g., Workday OPE) Develop UAT plans and lead testing efforts for People Technology initiatives
(includes test case development, desired outcomes, timelines, etc.) Participate in the implementation and ongoing HCM support for Gem. Project dependent, also done one or more: lead project timeline creation/mgmt, project team comms, training, and documentation. Conduct data audits as appropriate to support various programs/projects.
Leverage AI throughout all work/workstreams where relevant (testing, process review, audits, workflow development, and more) Review and make prioritization suggestions based on demand and resources Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on new technology needs; assess capabilities of current systems vs. requirements and make recommendations for
path forward - likely specific to adopting new AI capabilities KTLO Support Work - Backup Coveraged Monitor Jira queue and provide timely support/resolution/ticket assignment.
Manage small project enhancement requests for various areas in Workday.
Develop Workday reports as needed.
Partner with IT on root-cause analysis and validation of fixes prior to release.

Position Requirements
B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area.
8-10+ yrs HRIS/HCM experience
Workday Advanced Comp required. Expertise in several other areas of Workday HR including Performance Management, Core HR, Security, Reporting required
Gem experience is highly desired. Solid ATS / TA tool experience is an ok substitute

Experience supporting other systems such as Recognition tools, Jira, etc a plus
Expert Google Sheets and/or Excel skills including leverage both for data auditing
Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for automating
workflows, generating test scripts/documentation, or building lightweight tools.
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
