Position Overview

Adorn Life Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled licensed mental health therapist to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by trauma. This full-time remote position allows you to provide specialized mental health care from the comfort of your own home, while actively participating in our comprehensive outpatient services.

Our multidisciplinary team specializes in treating a range of trauma-related disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment that promotes resilience and empowers individuals on their mental health journey.

Work Environment

This role operates within a fully remote workspace, supplemented by virtual interactions and occasional in-office meetings to strengthen team collaboration. Our outpatient office operates with flexible hours, typically from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, allowing you to schedule your workday around the needs of your clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive information on patients' trauma histories and treatment needs.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based practice.
  • Utilize established therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective, evidence-based therapy.
  • Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster a safe space for patients to process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote personal healing.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure synergistic patient care and coherent treatment strategies.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, offering guidance and resources for immediate stabilization.
  • Educate patients and their family members about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources to enhance community understanding and involvement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, demonstrating your ability to work effectively with diverse client needs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and current resilience-building approaches is essential.
  • Proven expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity for compassion and a non-judgmental approach to care.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in diverse therapeutic techniques, including group therapy, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care, are highly favored. Experience working in an outpatient setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
