Senior Applications Administrator (Workday)
Remote role
Contract, Full-Time (Through end of 2026)
Compensation: $40 - $50 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join Brooksource's enterprise HRIT team as a Senior Applications Administrator (Workday) in a fully remote, full-time contract role through the end of 2026. You will provide dedicated technical capacity across Workday development, configuration, security, and Tier 3 application support, operating within an established development and intake process. This position is focused on the Workday platform itself (not integrations) and requires advanced hands-on expertise, especially in Workday security, user-based privileges, and permission structures. You will collaborate closely with HRIT developers and business stakeholders, supporting ongoing platform improvements and ensuring the highest standards of application support. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop, configure, and support functionality within the Workday platform
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support by investigating, diagnosing, and resolving complex Workday issues
  • Develop and maintain Workday configurations, custom reports, custom fields, and related platform functionality
  • Administer Workday security, including user-based privileges, permissions, and application security requirements
  • Assist with application updates, releases, configuration management, troubleshooting, and preventative improvements
  • Collaborate with HRIT developers and business stakeholders to deliver requests through established intake and development processes
  • Contribute to application-support practices, standards, procedures, and ongoing platform improvements
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strong professional experience developing and configuring solutions within Workday
  • Advanced understanding of Workday security, user-based privileges, and permission structures
  • Experience with Workday custom reports, custom fields, and advanced configuration
  • Workday Pro certification or comparable advanced Workday platform experience preferred
  • Experience providing Tier 3 application support in a complex enterprise environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot Workday application issues and independently execute platform changes
  • Ability to work effectively within an established HRIT team, development lifecycle, and intake process
