Job description

We are Lennar

Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to making an impact and creating an extraordinary experience for their Homeowners, Communities, and Associates by building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service, giving back to the communities in which we work and live in, and fostering a culture of opportunity and growth for our Associates throughout their career. Lennar has been recognized as a Fortune 500® company and consistently ranked among the top homebuilders in the United States.

A Career that Empowers You to Build Your Future

Lennar is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst to own Workday security administration and job architecture — two high-trust domains that every downstream HR, payroll, and reporting process depends on.

This role combines active build work with steady-state governance: continuing an ongoing job architecture rationalization effort while operating the controls, audits, and change management that keep the environment clean and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Security Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator and SME for the Workday security model, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and segmented security.

  • Design, configure, test, and promote security changes aligned to least privilege; own impact analysis, regression testing, and approval through to Production.

  • Administer role assignments across supervisory organizations and other organization types; resolve escalated access issues.

  • Execute recurring access reviews and segregation-of-duties analyses; partner with Internal Audit, IT Security, and SOX compliance on control testing and evidence.

  • Maintain security documentation, including role catalogs, security group inventories, and standard operating procedures.

Job Architecture

  • Own the design, configuration, and governance of job families, job profiles, job classifications, management levels, and job levels.

  • Partner with HR, Compensation, and business leaders to continue rationalizing job profiles across brands, aligned to a consistent leveling framework.

  • Enforce naming conventions, data standards, and approval workflows for job profile and foundation data changes.

  • Maintain alignment between job architecture and downstream dependencies — compensation grades, eligibility rules, reporting hierarchies, requisition templates, and Talent configuration.

  • Support reorganizations, acquisitions, and structural realignments, including impact analysis and mass data loads.

Reporting, Release & Support

  • Build and maintain advanced custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and audit reports that surface data quality issues.

  • Prepare and execute EIB and mass-change loads with validation and reconciliation controls.

  • Assess and test Workday releases for security and job architecture impacts; support tenant refresh readiness and configuration restoration.

  • Provide functional support to HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition within defined service levels.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Six or more years of HRIS experience, including at least four years of hands-on Workday configuration.

  • Demonstrated ownership of Workday security configuration — domain and business process security policies, security group design, and role administration.

  • Direct experience designing or restructuring Workday job architecture (job families, profiles, levels, management levels).

  • Proficiency with Workday foundation data, advanced custom reports, calculated fields, and EIB data loads.

  • Experience supporting audit and compliance activities, including access reviews and segregation-of-duties analysis.

  • Disciplined approach to testing, documentation, and change control in a production HR system, with absolute discretion handling confidential data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Pro certification in HCM Core, Security, or Reporting.

  • Large multi-brand or multi-entity enterprise experience (5,000+ employees).

  • Exposure to SOX or similar control environments as applied to HR and payroll systems.

  • Familiarity with Workday Prism, Extend, or Studio, and with adjacent platforms such as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery.

  • Homebuilding, construction, real estate, or financial services experience.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

Location will be Miami, FL (Lennar Corporate Headquarters) or Remote (U.S.)

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

This description outlines the basic responsibilities and requirements for the position noted. This is not a comprehensive listing of all job duties of the Associates. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
