Job description

Workday SME
Seeking a full-time 35 hour per week Workday SME contractor for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Education to provide support to a staff of 150 employees. Some development will also be required as well as the creation of workflows for expense reimbursement, the purchasing process and invoice payments. Workday ERP for financials went live on 7/1/25 with payroll and human resources set to go live in September 2025. This contract is expected to last at least one year with a possible extension.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support with setting up projects and security roles; ensuring proper approval levels for Purchasing/Procurement
  • Support for the go-live date for Payroll/human capital portion of ERP
  • Creation of workflows for expense reimbursement, the purchasing process, invoice payments, etc.
  • Support and consultation on how best to streamline the Workday processes into routine business functions
