Main Purpose of the Role


Provides engineering support of electrical test for new and existing board level assemblies. Applies engineering and scientific principles to the evaluation and solution of technical problems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Use multidisciplinary engineering knowledge to monitor and improve test yield. Investigates and resolves problems involving equipment and systems.
  • Identifies and routinely uses the most effective and cost-efficient business practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness
  • Performs system installation qualification and writes work instructions of test systems. Conducts evaluations, tests and analyses related to feasibility and function.
  • Performs troubleshooting and fault isolation activities and remains abreast of and consults on technical advancements. Collaborates with cross -functional teams developing and executing tests, performing root cause analysis and participating in investigations.
  • Exercises technical judgment in planning, organizing, performing, coordinating and/or directing engineering work. Performs engineering studies. Conducts measurements specified in design verification plans, documents, and tabulates results, and provides reports.
  • Documents custom tools with specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts to support document control and tool release.
  • Applies theoretical principles, evaluation, ingenuity, and creative / analytical techniques within engineering and scientific principles. Helps establish processes based on product specifications and evaluates process and design alternatives based on "design for manufacturability.
