Job description

Our client is a Professional Services / Financial Advisory firm and they are looking to hire a Recruiting Director. They are operating in a hybrid model of 4x on site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end recruiting from candidate engagement through close, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Build relationship-driven pipelines and recruit high-caliber professionals aligned with the firm's culture
  • Build and scale direct sourcing (market mapping, targeted outreach) while reducing agency reliance
  • Own recruiting metrics: pipeline strength, time-to-fill, conversion rates, and hiring effectiveness
  • Standardize processes and implement structured tracking, reporting, and data-driven insights
  • Develop and coach recruiting coordinator(s) and drive accountability across all stakeholders
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience in professional services
  • Must have at least 3 years of recruiting experience at an accounting/tax firm
  • Proven success recruiting across leadership, advisory, business development, and operational roles
  • Strong understanding of financial advisory, accounting, and tax talent markets
  • Track record of reducing agency reliance through internal recruiting capabilities
  • Data-driven with strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership: setting expectations, driving accountability, developing teams
  • Superior communication and relationship-building skills, able to influence senior leaders
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Minimum 15% travel; ability to work extended hours including nights/weekends as needed


The salary range for this role is $130,000-$175,000, + bonus, commensurate with experience.
