Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliant time and absence management.

Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead configuration and implementation of Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules
  • Conduct requirements-gathering workshops with business and HR stakeholders
  • Design and configure payroll structures, absence plans, and time tracking rules
  • Support full-cycle payroll processing including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
  • Lead testing activities (SIT/UAT) and support defect remediation
  • Deliver end-user training and provide post-go-live support
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integrations

Key Skills:

  • Workday Payroll certification required
  • 5+ years of Workday Payroll consulting experience
  • Strong expertise in Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules
  • Deep understanding of global payroll and compliance requirements
  • Experience with end-to-end Workday implementations
  • Strong workshop facilitation and client-facing communication skills
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting, testing, and production support

Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday consulting experience focused on Payroll
  • Experience with large-scale HCM implementations and post-go-live support

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
