Key Responsibilities

• Engage in collaborative discussions with physicians, psychologists, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team approach to tailor comprehensive care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modifying them as necessary while closely monitoring client progress and outcomes.
• Provide psychoeducation on mental health issues and available resources to clients and their families, ensuring that they are well-informed and empowered to take an active role in the treatment process.
• Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and utilize telehealth systems effectively to enhance client communication and care delivery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with the latest best practices, treatment modalities, and industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW position at Wild Spirit Therapy primarily focuses on adult clients, including those with complex mental health needs and current or past substance use issues. As a crucial member of the detox center team, you will work with individuals striving for recovery and mental clarity, providing them with the tools needed to navigate challenges effectively and meaningfully.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families to support their mental health journeys.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills in individual and group therapy settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in settings dealing with mental health, substance use, or trauma-informed care.
• Experience working with elderly populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
