Security Officer – Part-Time (Weekend Night Shift)
Hours: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Summary
We’re seeking a reliable Part-Time Security Officer for our weekend night shift to help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role includes campus patrols, monitoring activity, and supporting clinical staff with safety needs.

Key Responsibilities

Campus Safety

  • Maintain order and enforce hospital rules.
  • Patrol campus regularly and secure doors/areas.
  • Monitor unfamiliar vehicles or individuals and report concerns.
  • Use video surveillance and communication systems effectively.
  • Report safety issues or equipment needs to the Security Director.

Security Booth

  • Check in/out all visitors using the Visitor App.
  • Monitor CCTV within the booth.

Support to Nursing

  • Assist with patient disturbances as directed.
  • Support police or parole officers when on-site.
  • Retrieve patient belongings for discharges.
  • Conduct patient, unit, or vehicle searches as needed.

Fire & Reporting

  • Conduct assigned fire drills and document results.
  • Send a shift summary email to the designated mailing list.
