Jill’s House is a Christian non-profit organization and auxiliary ministry of McLean Bible Church called by God to love individuals toward Jesus by providing them with short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services. Jill’s House is seeking Direct Support Professionals to care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in our fully accessible respite resort in Vienna, Virginia just outside of Washington, DC.


Training and professional development is provided so experience is not required.


We are especially in need of compassionate team members available to serve on Sundays. Your willingness to fill this need would be a tremendous blessing to the families we serve.

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for:

• The guidance and supervision of individuals to whom they are assigned.

• Performing a combination of basic care, assistance with activities of daily living, and activity guidance in a safe, nurturing environment.

• Following each client’s service plan and ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

Sunday Availability is

Available Shifts:

  • Fridays: 4 PM - 10 PM
  • Saturday: 6 AM to 2 PM, 1 PM - 9 PM, and 6 AM - 6 PM
  • Sunday: 6 AM - 4 PM

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old, high school graduate or GED.

• At least six months successful experience is preferred.

• Must be able to work weekend shifts is required.

• Patience, good oral and written communication skills.

• Great team skills, willingness to learn and grow.

• Physical strength and stamina to help individuals transition into bed.

• Must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision and Values as well as abide by the Standards of Christian Conduct. (See attached)
